hi. i have been watching digital tv with 2 televisions with built in freeview for about a year but yesterday morning both tv's are showing "no signal". i find it hard to believe both have a failure in hardware of some kind so is there any other reason they could have lost reception? thanks in advance.

Well the only thing that's changed is analogue has been switched off so it sounds suspiciously like you have been watching analogue and not digital. Try rescanning.

thanks for that but no, i have been definately watching digital. except for channels 1 and 2, they were always a little pixelated. i have tried rescanning but both tv's are unable to pick up any channels. i will trace cables back up to the aerial but it seems a fairly hefty coincidence both would die on the same night analogue tv does????

A very strange coincidence indeed. Hope you find the problem.

What's your location and what sort of antenna do you have?

rural franklin. not sure of antenna brand but it looks like a standard uhf job.
