For the last week on-demand isn't updating with new episodes on my Panasonic TV. Anybody else having this annoying issue? ie: Manifest, Project Blue Book, Gotham and The Orville aren't showing this week's episodes.

Indeed, we are having the same problem on our Panasonic TV.

Had to resort to the good old faithful chromecast & laptop to catch up with our favourites.  Although, the 2nd episode of Fresh Eggs did drop in.

Also, in the past two weeks or so we lose the signal for a few seconds. Then it comes back and then you have to log back into freeview on demand - a bit annoying.  The help screens here allude to the antenna but I know our antenna is good.  Also the signal goes from nothing to good in a flash - nothing in between - so definitely some technical issues going on with the system. Just hope they can sort it.

I am having the same problem too with freeview, my on demand hasn't loaded coronation street for the last week and other shows are not loading as well this is happening to both my dish set top box S8200 and my samsung UAKU6000SXNZ smart tv I can get tvnz on demand no problem but I use freeview mostly 

I have also been having this same problem. I am using a Dish TV T2200 Aerial Box.

Two programs that have not been updated for a week are:-

Fair Go (Freeview on Demand stops at Episode 2, but TVNZ now has Episode 4 - the latest)

The Chase (Freeview on Demand stops at Ep 133, but TVNZ is up-to-date and goes to Ep 138)

I have contacted Freeview, who directed me to TVNZ, saying that it is their problem. I have contacted TVNZ by email, but no reply from them.

It would be interesting to know whether the same episodes are missing on ALL platforms. If the same ones are missing on all, this would suggest the problem is with TVNZ. If different platforms have different ones missing, this would suggest that it is a Freeview problem.

I have some more info to add to my earlier post on this subject. I just checked with a neighbor who gets Freeview on Demand on a new LG smart TV.

The episodes that are missing on hers are the same as on mine, so different platforms but same problem!

This suggests that either TVNZ have for some reason not being adding episodes (unlikely) or that there is a problem with the Freeview database.

Would be interesting to check a TV3 show and see if they're up to date or not.

Good idea and wish I had thought of that earlier. I have just checked 4 programs (Rookie, Designated Survivor, Boys Weekend and NCIS) and they are all up-to-date on both Three on Demand and Freeview on Demand. And all had new episodes within the last few days.

So... looks like it is a problem with TVNZ.  And I still have no response to the email I sent them!

The way I see it is that we're accessing Ondemand through Freeview so it's an issue for Freeview to correct regardless if the fault is at their end or TVNZ's. Not really good enough that they're telling us to contact TVNZ IMHO.

  1. Tin star on tv 3 is all there,  it is last weeks episodes of coronation street 2019 that I haven't received and fair go is up to date now but it wasn't this morning

Yep, Maxine is right. In the last hour, both Fair Go and The Chase have come up to date. So, it looks as if somebody is doing something about it. I wonder what it took to get some action...

Tonight there should be a new episode of The Resident, so will be interested to see if that arrives on time.

Hey Josh the freeview on demand team has just emailed me and  said that the programs were not being pushed on to freeview on demand from tvnz and that they were sorting it out and give it a couple of days and it should come right, hopefully it does happen

I contacted them on Friday and they have just got back to me

On Friday I got an email from TVNZ telling me that the problem had been fixed. However, I have come across at least 2 programs from Friday evening - "Call the Midwife" and "Love my Garden" which (almost 2 days later) are still not available - at least on my setup. (Both are OK on TVNZ on Demand.)

I have replied and let them know this, but in the meantime would be interested to know whether anyone else can confirm that these two programs are also not available on their setup. (Last week, it seemed that the problem was the same on all setups, but possibly this is a different problem!)
