EPG selection defaults to antenna

I have a 50" LG Smart/3D/Freeview TV on a satellite dish (can't get UHF). EPG works fine but if I push OK to select the channel while in the EPG the TV defaults back to the "Antenna" Programming Mode rather than sticking with the previously set "Satellite" mode. As a consequence I get a "no signal" message when choosing channels this way. I then have to go into settings and change the Programming Mode from Antenna back to Satellite every time. Anybody else experienced this behaviour?

Hmmm. Thought there might be something in the manual online that might help but it's pretty useless. All the setting up stuff is in the eManual in the TV so can't help. Sony put their eManual online as well. Pity LG wouldn't do the same. It could make troubleshooting and getting help a bit easier.
