EPG message after booking about 6 programmes is " there are too many scheduled programmes " & it won't let us book to record any more?? Any ideas much appreciated..

Hi MA

Please make sure that these recordings do not overlap and that you have enough space on the hard drive. Every time you make a booking a portion of that space is reserved to ensure that the recordings will be able to store themselves successfully.

I have attached a screenshot below which you can find in the Library Menu below the recorded shows on how much space you have left and how much is reserved for your booked shows. 

You may need to adjust some recordings or delete old ones however if you still experience this please let us know

Thanx for reply. It's actually getting worse - checked on overlapping & free spaces all ok, but it now will only let us book 2 programs to record before the error message " there are too many scheduled programmes " appears??? Should I check for an update or something?

Have you checked that Auto Time Shift is turned off?

Yes it's turned off. It's definitely only letting me book 2 separate programs to record before the error message appears (sort of defeats the whole purpose of having the twin recorder!!!) Any ideas appreciated.

Maybe time for a factory default reset and/or HDD format? You'd lose any recordings but it might fix it.
