It depends on the brand, but most LNB's that are sold here in NZ usually do a great job,
I have a 2nd hand LNB which was installed (SHARP Single LNB) in 2009 on the same dish and has never failed or showing signs of deterioration.
Make sure you choose a supplier which offers a warranty and guarantee, also if they are based in NZ they should abide with the CGA.
Your local installer might sell LNB's otherwise online sites like TradeMe, Dish TV sell LNBF modules.
