Rescan on Hills HSM075

The following instructions are supplied by the manufacturer.

You will need to use the remote control for your Hills HSM-075 to complete the update.  If you no longer have a working remote control, please contact the manufacturer - call 09 912 6789 or email sales@hillsig.co.nz

MANUAL UPDATE

With some channels being transmitted from a Sky transponder, the device may require a rescan to locate the transmission.

You can refer to this Youtube Video providing step by step instructions.

If you're unable to access the instruction video, please follow these steps.

  1. Press Menu on the Hills Remote
  2. Using the arrow keys on the remote, scroll down to Installation & Settings and press OK
  3. Scroll to number 7. Update & Factory Settings
  4. Press OK
  5. Scroll to 2. Reinstallation
  6. Press OK
  7. Answer Yes and press OK

The Receiver will now reset to Factory Default Settings.

Enter your region, highlight Next and press OK.

On the Antenna Configuration Page, check that you have at least 75% Signal Strength (blue) and 75% Signal Quality (green).

If not, you may need to change your LNB Setting to 10750.

The bars should then fill in.

Scroll down to Next and press OK.

The box will now rescan and add the channels, this may take a few minutes.  

Allow this to complete and come up Done before you press OK to complete the channel scan.

UNABLE TO CORRECTLY ADD THE NEW CHANNELS?
