Hi there

I'm having problems with our Dish TV S8300 for a few days. 

I am unable to watch any content from the library (or delete anything) and can not pause to record. The following message shows on the screen:

"Media level error occur. Please check the media connection or reboot the receiver or format the storage media."

I have tried every reset option possible, even tried a factory reset, all without success.... Does anybody have a tip or idea before I bring the recorder to a technician?

Have you tried switching the unit off from the wall and leaving it for 20-30 secs. 

If the issue still persists, you will need to contact DISH TV for further support here\

Thanks for your help; in the meantime I brought the device to the place where we bought it and they were able to reset the receiver and it's now working again.
