Hi, the latest update seems to have broken Freeview on my 2019 LG C9 OLED TV.

I know that freeview block TV's that don't "comply" so I wonder if this is a freeview problem or an LG problem - the former I'm picking.

can anyone confirm?

Hi Brent

When you say "Broken Freeview" what is happening? No Channels, or OnDemand?

Thanks,

Josh

No on demand and the popup menu doesn't appear when I change channels.

It's likely the setting used to enable Freeview has been switched off in the update. Check the following process:

1. Go to Settings

2.   Advanced Settings

3. Either in Network or Programes you will see a setting called "HBBTV" if this is off switch it on and exit out of the menu to the channel

4. Try changing the channel and wait for a few seconds for the mini guide to load.

Let me know how you get on?

Josh

HBBtv was already enabled. I disabled then reenabled and then pulled the power form the TV and then started it up again... now it is working again.

Odd - maybe something residual.

thanks for your suggestions.

No worries, glad its back up and running
