Rain fade when it isn't raining

I have a DishTV S7090PVR. I'm finding that some recorded programs are getting a disrupted image & sound similar to what happens when it rains - but I know the shows were recorded when the weather was good. No issues when watching live TV.

I'd welcome any thoughts.

Hi Joshua,

The freeview man has been back and has given us 2 freeview set boxes to try out over the weekend, so far it's all good so looks like one of them is faulty, we will introduce one over the weekend and see what happens, if it happens when either one is on we will then know which one is causing us a huge headache lol. If it is the we bought in July it will be going back and we'll be asking for a refund or replacement as per Warrenty

right we have found where the problem is, the aerial cable from freeview box to the wall, have replaced with another cable and all good in both living and lounge. We are using our own freeview set boxes, the ones that are on loan are going back on Tuesday when the freeview man comes back. That was one thing he had not tried
