It looks like that there might be interference with your reception pick up. Could you do the following:
1. Tell us the Signal and Quality levels by pressing INFO twice on your remote on the following channels:

Thanks for the response, I appreciate it.
The problems seems to have resolved itself over the last couple of days i.e. went from being completely stuck to stop starting to a normal Picture.
If it occurs again I will check the signal strength and get in touch .
