Hi there.

I just bought a VEON Freeview receiver and have it hooked up to an existing dish at my house. The receiver is a satellite receiver and is connected in the correct way, as per the instructions. In using scanning function in the setup menu of this receiver  I am seeing that I have signal strength of 73%, and quality of 98% on the D1 (160E) KU satellite. However I am not receiving any of the standard freeview channels. I am only receiving various global channels, such as arabic, brazilian, various asian channels, various racing, and global news channels etc. No NZ channels are available.

Given I have a good signal strength from apparantly the correct satellite I am puzzled as to why I can't get the standard freeview channels.

If anyone has any idea as to what is going on here, and what issues I may be having I would greatly appreciate it.
