HT9200DTR HDMI through Pioneer Receiver

I would like to know if there is a possible solution to the problem I am having with connecting my HT9200DTR through a Pioneer receiver via HDMI Cable. The problem is as follows:

When I turn the HT9200DTR on for the first time a day by means of the remote, the signal does not get through to the Panasonic television. I have the HT9200DTR plugged into a Pioneer receiver for 5.1 audio, which in turn connects to the HD Television. I need to physically turn the HT9200DTR off at the back of the box and on again for it to work through the Pioneer.

I tested the same HDMI port on the Pioneer with my DVD and Computer, and both work without a problem.

If anyone happens to have an answer to this problem, I would be forever grateful.

p.s. I have tried resetting the HT9200DTR and then setting the main output as HDMI.

Hi Joshua

Yes, I actually swapped the DVD and DTR HDMI cables around, and the fault followed the DTR to the new port using the DVD cable. Once working it's fine, but it's just on initial start up.

Hi Robin

Hmm, have you tried another HDMI cable? to see if it's that particular cable that is not pleasing the DTR ?
