Which Freeview recording box?

Would appreciate any feedback on what to purchase to replace my Homecast 9200 which is playing up. Can anyone recommend Dish TV Freeview Plus or Panasonic dual recorder please? Thank you in advance.

P.S. I have read good/bad reviews about both....I have an aerial and booster.

Never had any problem with my Panasonic recorders. On the other hand the DishTV and others seem to be plagued with problems. Quality = price paid. Forget about Freeview Plus. It's rubbish and full of bugs.  Use a HTPC instead for online stuff. Even a Laptop connected to TV with HDMI is better than Freeview Plus.

HTPC = Home Theatre PC. Usually a low cost small footprint silent box. No fans to make noise while watching.
