I have had various problems with reception quality varying from TV3. TV1 and 2, and other channels fine, just the ones on the TV3 multiplex channel.

Since about 16th Feb, reception is suddenly worst (Cashmere area), other channels OK, signal level OK, looks like interference or fidelity problem.

Is anyone else noticing this ? Is there a known problem here, - is there an interference from nearby broadband rollout ?

Mark.

Hi Mark

I have just checked with transmission providers and the Network Status page and there has been nothing reported in the network.

I suggest you try following these steps

This applies to Panasonic DMR-BW850 according to your profile details:

  1. Access your Set-Up Menu and select Tuning
  2. Scroll down to Auto Setup
  3. Select yes to procced (Please not that current tuning channels will be wiped but this does not apply to already recorded content)
  4. Allow a few minutes for the unit to rescan channels.

If you still cannot tune in some channels please ensure you have your UHF aerial aligned properly, and ensure that the environment is clear from any obstacles.

If you are still having issues let me know and we can troubleshoot further.

Cheers
Joshua

Thanks Joshua,

Tuning should not be a problem - reception is there but badly pixelated.

Nothing has changed with UHF aerial / trees in the last few days, but there has been a step change in quality of reception.

Mark.

I suggest contacting Kordia about this as they will be able to help you with any information regarding Sugarloaf.

Joshua
