I have a cord that connects into the back of my sky decoder. I want to get rid of sky and just have freeview channels. I've unplugged everything and put the satelite cord into the back of the TV in the satelite in comnection. The tv says programme tv. I select satelite and when it scans nil programmes are found. What am I doing wrong

Hey Melanie, just saw this.

hmm it should work because the UJ634v is a dual tuner TV and has the correct satellite tuner built-in to tune in the satellite signal.

Just double-checking here but you did select "New Zealand" as the Country / Location before starting the tuning process right?

Here's the tuning guide from LG: http://www.lg.com/uk/support/solutions/tv/smart-tv/tuning

Also...

Do you have a UHF aerial?  If you do, try connecting that to the TV and tuning in the channels.  You can get HD broadcasts via UHF and extra channels as well, so if you've got UHF coverage (check here), it's worth looking into using a UHF aerial.
