Once again I find myself having to disable HbbTV.

It's now very sluggish and unusable.  I have to press the red button numerous times to get a response. And the when it finally responds the mini-guide says "loading" then it immediately disappears off screen.  After trying again and finally getting to the point where I can actually select some on-demand content I get an error:  "No suitable video renditions -  The server did not provide any video renditions that this player could play"

Merry Christmas!

Afternoon Ian and Merry Christmas!

The "No suitable video renditions..." has been reported before and we work with the broadcaster development team to solve the issue, can you please send me some more details on the specific TV / Unit model and if this has happened since this post on Thursday.

Cheers
Joshua

Hi,

Haven't seen this problem occur again since then though FP+ still seem quite laggy at times.    I wonder if it's network  bandwidth  related?

Hey guys, there was no update to FreeviewPlus that week leading up to Christmas so not sure what would've caused the sudden lag.  Wondering if it's interference from your magic wand remote control.  Are you pressing the up/down arrow keys to disable or hide the pink onscreen cursor before you interact with FreeviewPlus?

Hi,

An update did occur on my TV... though perhaps it wasn't an FV+  update - something else in the system?

Using the direction keys is the only way for me to navigate FV+ so yes, the pink onscreen cursor is off.

It's been performing ok these last couple of days.
