Freeview is my `go to' place for almost everything to do with my telly stuff. I hate change. Boo hoo.

And the other Device that closing down around the same time is the Vodafone TV Box which is my go to One   on Demand and Three Now and youtube which is Basically late at night .

What gets me is all these devices that they sell , within a few years the big firms close them all down and what do you do with the units , Trash them and create more landfill .

Hopefully Vodafone won't shut it down completely so I and others can still use it , the same way Sky did with their Igloo Box ,  it doesn't have the upgrades but still works for the terestial channels .

They call it progress :) Like you have to constantly create a new product, otherwise there will be no movement and no sales. I know a couple of companies that stopped releasing a good product just because of the demands of self-development. They released a similar product, slightly improved from their point of view. And if you ask me, the old product was better than the new product.
