Can someone tell me how to receive free view? We have the smart hub working so can use web based streaming like netflix, you tube etc but with the satellite ariel plugged in the 'broadcasting' set up is still not available. How can I tune the channels? We don't subscribe to sky but presumably the satellite ariel will work?

Not necessarily. The Dish could be misaligned and/or the LNB could be dead. You may have the wrong LNB setting in the setup menu.
Also make sure the TV is definitely has a Sat Tuner (that model should be Sat capable) and the dish cable is plugged in the Sat socket and not the UHF socket.
Your Profile indicates you are in Auckland so why are you not using UHF so you get HD picture?
Sat is only poor quality SD.
More info is needed in order to help.
