I have a DishTV S7090PVR. I'm finding that some recorded programs are getting a disrupted image & sound similar to what happens when it rains - but I know the shows were recorded when the weather was good. No issues when watching live TV.
I'd welcome any thoughts.

Thanks. Very helpful.
Interestingly I have been having the same issue and after having the freeview set box, cables, connections checked by the freeview installation person got no resolution, I finally twigged that it was my mobile and the locations setting was turned on which in turn turns on the the wifi, I turned this off and the Television is now all good, no pixielation nor does the no signal sign comes up.
Do you have a mobile phone? If so check your settings on it.
Something to consider
hmmmm changed channel to Tv1 after watching Choice channel without issues only to have a no signal greet me on TV1 grrrrr so obviously ignore that about the mobile.
Hi Linda
What kind of mobile device do you own, Model and Make as I am interested to have a look at this for future issues.
Cheers, Joshua
The issue might not be related to the mobile, What are area are you receiving Freeview from. are you using a Satellite dish or UHF aerial to receive Freeview?
I'm in Blenheim and have a Dish to view Freeview, funny thing is thought it doesn't affect the TV in the lounge just in the living room, we have 2 freeview set boxes, the one in the lounge is the latest one in which we can watch internet Television on, the one in the living room was previously on the TV in the lounge
Lounge --- Ultraplus 990HD Magic PVR
Living room ---- Ultraplus 980HD Micro PVR
I did notice however that when the TV gets pixilating and no signal sign I cannot ring out on my mobile, it shows it is dialing but nothing rings as the other end, I tried it with my husband's number
Samsung GT S7275R running through Spark
Is someone watching the Australian channel 9 on one of the Ultraplus receivers?
If so, it will be switching the polarity voltage of the LNBF as the channel 9 is on Vertical transponder.
Freeview channels are on Horizontal transponders.
No, we don't watch overseas channels, only bought the new one for the lounge so hubby could watch Bathurst but even that kept buffering so ended up getting him a Fan pass
in my search for answers googling came across articles mentioning 4G could cause problems but neither my husband or I have 4G
