Hi everyone,

I have a Panasonic TV (TX model) and a Panasonic Freeview Box (DMR8 model). 

When watching a self recorded programme, OnDemand or Netflix it comes up with a message that says it is going to do a `self check'.

The second message states it has completed the self check and will turn the unit off.

Once it has turned off, I have to turn the power back on. (The TV stays on during this self check process).

I do what the messages say, but it then does it all again and I am unable to watch any self recorded programme, OnDemand or Netflix for the rest of the evening.  I can then only watch television.

This has only just started, over the last few months. I haven't experienced this problem before then.

Does anyone know what causes this - and more importantly - how do I fix this problem?
