No HGTV

My Freeview box didn't automatically update when HGTV became available. I get Ch 3, Bravo, Prime, etc on their new channels though. So I did a manual update. Put in the codes and now when I go to Channel 17 I get DUKE tv for a few seconds then it switches itself to Channel 1. frustrating. I think I'm on frequency 12483H. Is it possible to change the frequency to 12456H? This is the frequency listed on the following link that was elsewhere in this forum. Will this solve my problem?

My Freeview is a Zimwell model ZMX-7500.

Finally, I noticed on the above link that the stations listed for that frequency don't include some "regular channels"......e.g. TV1 . Is this station not available on this frequency? Thanks for any help you can give....please don't make it too technical. Too technical and I may accidentally launch a space shuttle lol.

HGTV missing from your Zinwell ZMX7500 or DSE G7500

Here’s how to add HGTV without losing Bravo+1, Prime and Edge

Using your remote:

Press the Menu button
Use the Down Arrow button to highlight System Installation
Use the Right Arrow button and the Down Arrow buttons until Edit TP is highlighted
Press OK and enter the password “0000” (or “1269”)
On the Edit TP screen use the Up or Down Arrow button to highlight the entry:

2 Freeview 12456 22500 H
and press OK
Press OK again to go to the Tuning screen. After about 30 seconds the Tuning screen will disappear and the receiver will return to TV1
Turn your receiver off for about 5 seconds then turn it on again

You should now have HGTV on 17

I tried Graham's instructions and they worked like a charm. The wife is now happy and we all know that when Momma's happy then everybody's happy. Thanks again. Jim
