How does freeview plus work? I have bought a new samsung tv capable of freeview plus, I have a satellite dish. I have plugged the aerial in and can get freeview plus on the tv and can watch normal tv and record programmes onto usb stick. I can access TVNZondemand, Netflix etc. What I cant do is watch catch up tv on freeview plus, When I click the backward arrow and go into past programmes , every programme comes up with "not available". Why is that? I can get the programme on TVNZ ondemand, but I thought the point of having freeview plus was so you can watch your programmes when you wanted. I have also tried acessing yr "how to videos" on this site, and they wont play. I have rung freeview plus and they couldnt help

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That's because it doesn't do catch up, only On Demand.

The smart new FreeviewPlus TV guide goes back 7 days so you can catch up* on shows from the comfort of your couch.  It goes forward too, for 8 days, so you can plan ahead!

*Viewing on demand will use your broadband data to stream videos, find out more here.

Note the asterisk. Catch up is via On Demand.
