Over the last week or so every time I set something up on TV1 to record it defaults to channel 600. I get 1 or 2 seconds recorded and then the box freezes and requires a restart, bloody frustrating!!!!!!!! I've tried restarting and retuning the channels with no luck, I just can't seem to get rid of channel 600. Anyone else having the same issue or know what channel 600 is?

Hey Joshua. It's a Magic TV MTV3600 and is running the latest firmware, 3.21, and I'm in Chch. All programmes set up to record channel 1 automatically default to channel 600.

Hi Aaron

We are talking to Pixel Magic at the moment to see what the fault is, this is an issue that a lot of others are reporting so we will get back to you on what Pixel Magic says.

Dish TV Online Support

Hi Aaron, Hiro, Leon,

Please power off your Magic TV 3600 and power back on.  The technical team has advised that ch600 was used for testing and should no longer be visible to the MTV 3600 after a power cycle.

Thanks,

B

Please perform Settings -> System -> Factory Reset, then re-add the bookings.

I've tried that along with retuning the channels and cancelling my booked recordings on TV1 and re-booking them. Will try again tonight though and let you know of the outcome this time. :)

Just read your comment wklie. Will try that tonight.

The factory reset seems to have worked. Thank you.
