How to share other devices with a Satbox S8200

Hi,

Ive just purchased a Satbox 8200 freeview recorder and I am trying to set up my other devices, ie lap top and smart phone to the box, but it tells me there are no devices to view. Can you tell me how to do this please.

According to the manual you can't. It's only for connecting to the Internet. However if your Laptop is connected to your Modem/Router you should be able to see the S8200 on your Laptop and transfer recordings.

Hi Jeanette

You can share files and cast content to the S8200 for example. If you have a .mp3 music file that you want to play on the TV you can do so or view a .mp4 video file.

Each device such as a smart phone, tablet, PC casts content differently but is usually a simple process, Please tell me more info about your devices such as smartphone model and what kind of laptop you are using, Mac or Windows and operating system.
