A 2nd receiver for the 2nd tv only $60-$70 would be much less hassel than trying to feed off another receiver.
Is your Primary TV a Freeview Model? If so just plug in a UHF antenna and get a new STB plus splitter for the other TV.
If both TV are non Freeview then you could use the Sky Modulator (if it was external and you kept it) to send signal from a new UHF STB to the other room via the modulator while using HDMI cable to the main TV.
Other option for 2 non-freeview TV is 2 STB and UHF splitter as NZDTV suggests.
You could also consider new TVs of course.
Thanks Biggles, looks like I have options which is the main thing. Neither is Freeview. Primary TV is a 2 year old Sony. Yes I still have the modulator so I might try that option first since it uses stuff I already have. The modulator is/was set to CH38, do I need to Monkey with that?
Finally, I have been told that our aerial is a combo uhf/vhf. Never been used as we have had sky since we built the house about 8 years ago so haven't tested it. Have attached a picture, anyone have any thoughts on if it is indeed a combo?

OK. The antenna actually seems to be a High Band/Low Band VHF, not VHF/UHF and may or may not work OK. Try it and see. If your Sony TV is only 2 years old then it must be a Freeview model. They've all had Freeview built in since about 2010. What model is it? Just plug in the antenna and try Autotune.
Don't tinker with the modulator. Just plug in the A/V leads from a STB to where the Sky leads were plugged in and it should work. The TV in the other room is already tuned to it.
Thank you thank you thank you!! So I just whipped out an old coax cable plugged it into the wall and the back of the tv, hit auto tune and now I have crystal clear HDTV!!! Freeview is built in even though I was told by the retailer at the time it didn't (I asked specifically). Up and running and hasn't cost me a cent.

Don't you just love it when a plan comes together!!
Now you just need a UHF STB for the other TV or get a new TV for the other room. If the other room already has a wall socket then most likely there is already a splitter somewhere in the antenna/coax cable system.
that aerial is a gizmo from LINColn RADio [lincrad] in chch and will do uhf in a 1 size fits all manner
