My installer came and installed my freeview but he couldnt get C4 the music channel. It didnt come up in the list of chanels and hwen i try to press channel 9 where it should be it comes up with invalid channel. the freeview box i have is Zinwel DV3 Zmx-7500. Does anyone have any ideas? I was told i can run a blind search? (not sure if that is the right name for it) does anyone know how to do this?

If you dont already have Prime follow the instructions here

Still having trouble:
Have a look at my revised instructions found at tinyurl.com/zinwell-nz . The two instructions sheets you need are
(You need both of the above)
If you live in the Auckland area, you can bring the receiver to me to have C4, Prime and/or Trackside added or I may be able to talk you through it on the phone if you get stuck with the most recent instructions.

Not only did this not work but i have lost a lot of channels!! I cant seem to get it to move from a step. I dont have 100% on channel one only 87% and i have 100% on channel 3
this is the point is it stuck on, i cant seem to get the menu to change the name of the satellite to c4.
go up to OPTUS D1 and toggle the right key and select USER SATELLITE
(You will notice the signal indicator at 0%, This is natural)
[Press 1 to rename the satellite to something recognizable for instance I have used "C4}

I am following these instructions. Do i change the prime channel first? I had prime but it kept coming acrross with t he message on it that i need to change the channel .
Do as the instructions tell you, C4 is first then Prime, If you think you have made a mistake, complete a factory reset and retry, Let me know how you get on and see if you can restore C4 and Prime
:)
Kind Regards
Joshua

Hello Deana,
Can you check your ZMX-7500 software version for me please: Menu --> Accessories --> Version.
If the s/w version is 6.0* or higher than the green 87% signal quality bar on TV1 indicates that the LNB ( the round thing on the end of the arm on your dish) is most likely out of alignment. If you have lost TV1, TV2, TV1+1, TV2+1 and Maori after a re-scan, this confirms that the LNB is mis-aligned (assuming the software is 6.0 or higher). More information about this can be found in my Dropbox "ZMX-7500 No TV1 & TV2.pdf".
(* Software versions prior to 6.0 have an incorrect tuner software driver and can exhibit poor signal quality on the TVNZ channels)
A separate document "ZMX-7500 No Signal.pdf" describes another issue where the LNB has gone off frequency, and which can give similar symptoms but other channels will probably be affected as well.
Before calling your installer back, I suggest you try a restore to defaults and instructions on how to do this are in my Dropbox: "ZMX-7500 How to restore to the Factory Default.pdf"
I have emailed you separately, the latest revision of instructions for adding Prime.
