I have a Panasonic television which is receiving the audio for CTV but is not getting any video.
All other channels are performing normally.

Hi Ross,
Panasonic, Kordia and the broadcaster (CTV) are aware of this and are investigating to provide a solution ASAP. This may involve getting a recorded stream of the encoded broadcast (from CTV) to Panasonic & Kordia so the broadcast can be examined & root cause identified.
Solution, in the meantime, is patience :)
Like the rebuild of the Cathedral.

Strange that this problem hasn't affected any other channel addition in the way.
Also as of last check I still couldn't book programs for recording (Magic TV 3600td. Which is working just fine.

When you say you can't book programmes for recording on your Magic, it's only CTV you're talking about ay?

Yep it was only on CTV as or latish yesterday that changed and I could now book programs, but and it's a big but there was no series linking....
Initially this won't bother me but it would be nice if that is fixed as well.
As I write this reply my Panasonic Television is still getting no video.
Thanks for confirming Ross - they're still investigating the actual cause from what I hear...but we suspect once the "no video" issue is resolved, it should fix all.
I've also passed on your feedback for the Magic TV issue on - but it'll help if you could check the Magic TV recording once the "no video" issue is fixed, to see if you can book programmes for recording then as well.
As of this morning it's still not fixed I guess we live in hope, that eventually one day someone will get a solution.
Failing that I guess it will be back to Smiths City Market for a full refund or an exchange telly that works.

I've just joined in, I have same problem with CTV. I retuned TV and recorder mon nite,
Got both to work with sound & picture. Tues nite only get sound no picture thru TV, But get full signal when I go thru the DVD recorder ?
Will just wait and see for solution..
I guess those that are here will know that today nothing material changed.
Well as of tonight when I got home 1705 CTV was coming through well on my Panasonic.
Good work to whoever has made this happen.
On tuesday nite when I checked CTV it was working fine with sound and picture thru my Pana TV and recorder.
Looks like there are still issues.
The program guide is not complete and ends on Friday night 29th April this is the case for both my Panasonic Television and my Magic TV PVR, and what's worse is that those programs which are showing up in the program guide once again can't be booked for recording.
Actually on the last count of not being able to be booked for recording we are actually going backwards, this was sort of working after a fashion a day ro so ago but not now.
I really do hope that this isn't going to be an ongoing issue with Freeview and the digital switch over otherwise it will end up like NOVOPAY death to the system by a thousand cuts and even more angry people venting their frustration at the government.
