hi, im new to freeview. We have a Dish TV A2 freeview recorder and until recently all was working fine. Now we cant get the apps to play videos. Spark, TV on demand, Lightbox, none of them play videos. The menus load up but wont play anything. The Live tv works well but not other video apps. Does anyone have any ideas of what the problem might be? I have rebooted the router and turned everything off and restarted but still not working.

We have had no issues confirmed on our end, as you have done all the torubleshooting steps I may suggest contacting Dish TV for them to investigate further, you can submit a form here:

And provide as much information as possible, then the team will be able to work  with you to reoslve this as soon as possible.

Thanks Josh, I have sent them a message. I was hoping someone else would have had a similar problem and would know what to do. It seems weird that it was working last week, but no longer.

It could possibly need an update or a setting adjustment, Have you a factory reset on the box? this resets settings and logins to apps but refreshes the box like you received it from day 1?
