My freeview box is failing to record some shows - appears to be random in terms of which channel, one-off shows or recording series. I've got done the latest software update. Any suggestions?

Which freeview box?

Switch off the power of the receiver and leave for 20 minutes, try rebooting and see if you can book the recordings without error.
