Hello All,

Does any one out there know anything about error code -5 when trying to play back recorded content ?

The unit is a Dish TV satBox Ultra.

Oh dear, that makes things a bit more clearer. 

It does sound like the Unit has lost connection to your built in HDD. Have you tried system restoring your device or switching it off from the wall. Try those otherwise it might be a case of an faulty item which you will need to contact Dish TV,

Great that makes sense Joshua.

So now  when I try to enter the media manager it tells me to check the HDD connection?

Is this a internal problem?

Hi Matt

If you have this code error which says:

This programme cannot be set to record at this time. Please try again later (code -5)

This code means you have got the maximum number of recordings set at the time period (2 Channels recording at the same time area) Planned/Live

You will need to stop the recording of the current programmes or cancel the booking in order to continue the bookings.
