Hi. We can no longer connect our recording device. All was fine until Thursday night when the usb could not initalise and continually kept rebooting. I have taken the drive to the local store and there doesn't appear to have anything wrong with it. We lost power in the storm last week and thought it may have something to do with that. Bought home a new sat box and connected. Wonderful everything was working again. Got up this morning to watch the recorded All Black's game and we are right back where we started. Please help
The sat box is a S7070R and the external drive is a WD

Hi Josie
Sorry to hear that your USB is not working as it should on your S7070R
Dish TV has a recommendation in particular with USB Drives to externally power the USB Drive and not just plug it in standalone, The storm may have interfered with the technicality of this,
I recommend you contacting DishTV personally to see what issues they may have on their log and will be able to find a solution, you can contact them here: https://www.dishtv.co.nz/contact-us/Hamilton-Office/
Hope this helps,
Kind Regards
Joshua
