I wish to replace my dish with a UHF aerial so I can get Freeview HD.
Can I use the existing sat cable that used to link up the Sky box to the dish or is a new coax cable required to link the aerial to my tv ?

The same cable will work for a UHF aerial to the TV. The sky rated cable is great for uhf.

cable will be fine although odds are that the best place for an aerial will be somewhere else

Thanks for this help.

Thanks for this help.

Just remember John that, if it's a Sky installation, then the dish, mount, stays AND cable remain Sky's property! So if you decide to reconnect Sky in the future, they may reconnect the cable to the Sky dish, or may charge you to run a new cable.

Cheers, Bill.
