tv2 suddenly disappeared
hi there, just wondering if anyone can help. A few days ago I was unable to view TV2.When I selected "2
" the programme showing was TV1.I re installed freeview but that was no help. Another tv running off the same satellite dish is fine. I have a satbox dishtv 7070r. I can record tv2 using the programming guide however the quality is dodgy. Channel 7, tv2+1 is fine. I'm in Motueka.

Hi Sue, that is strange.
I would guess that you have a TV 2 signal broadcast by SKY not Freeview as there are duplicates FTA.
But first of all Have you tried a factory reset on the receiver, I have the same device and TV 2 shows up fine,
To reset:
1. Hit Menu on the remote
2. Go to Installation and then hit on Factory Reset, Press 0000 and you are doneLet me know if you want any other assistance

I got a reply from dishtv nz which fixed it. yahoo. I turned the freeview box off and then back on and its sorted. Thanks for your suggestion I had tried that with no joy
