Since the start of the month when you needed to have an account to watch on demand we have had nothing but trouble. 

The error states user name or password wrong. Which is a clear message however nothing has changed. The red message then states something like the Default password will be reset when you reset to factory settings. We have done this at least 4 times now but have no way to get pass this message or change anything?

Any ideas?

FreeviewPlus have recently released a large update that combined all 3 OnDemand services into one app, this app requires you to create a Freeview account (this is separate to your TVNZ OnDemand account). 
You can register for your Freeview account with the same email address you use for your TVNZ login; however your TVNZ account is not linked to your Freeview one (we don't have the right to share your user info with one another).
