Recording in SD

When recording an HD channel it takes up too much space on the usb flashdrive and doesnt record as  well as SD , so I always record on the +1 channels. The problem I  have is that Prime has now gone to HD and I cant get Prime +1 as dont have Sky TV. Is there any way I can record in SD without getting a Satellite dish?

With Prime you only have the HD option to record, the only way to watch Prime Content without recording is to watch ONDEMAND content via SKYGO, this is free for PRIME shows. However a Prime PLUS1 channel is not available on the UHF network.
