Hi Paul 

So you are having EPG issues with just your Freeview Built in TV?  (When the recorder is not in use) 
When you mean EPG is this the Freeview version or the on screen menu guide that pops up when pressing INFO?

Well, that's amazing. After being like this for months, today it is working fine, through both the Freeview guide and the Info button.

However over the weekend the Prime, Choice and other programes on one particular mux have been unavailable. Maybe this will clear up instantly too!.

Can anyone tell me why TV1+1 was unavailable through the freeview guide? It was like quite a few months ago, came right for a week or two then went back to its dysfunctional state.

The problem was happening with both our LG tv with build-in freeview, and our DishTV T1020 set-top tuner which get their signals from a splitter.

see gisbourne uses ch s 44.47 for some freeview channels and uhf aerials can be quite directional at those freqs  check that the aerial hasnt been blown off course

and does east coast tv have anything on yet?

I doubt if it is the aerial as we havent had any windy weather. Seeing as one whole mux is missing and the rest are fine I think its a broadcast problem.

Who is responsible for fixing this?

Looked at ECTV once but they seemed to be having problems and havent looked again.

And wouldn't you know it, back to square one. Having re-tuned the tv - but not the dishtv set-top box - I can't reach TV1+1 via the EPG - unless I tune to TV1+1 first and then start up the EPG. No doubt the bookings from TV1+1 will be just as cock-eyed.

I'm sure I'm not the only person in Gisborne having this problem - any ideas please.

give the dish box a factory/system reset and take it from there

otherwise youll have to ask around to see if its just you or its general
