I have a Mitsubishi TV and although I have tried resetting the scan doesn't give me PRIME.

I live in Motueka and have tried AUCKLAND, WELLINGTON WEST COAST and ALL FREE CHANNELS.

What am I doing wrong?

Hi Basil

Please can you supply the device you are trying to retune, a model and number will be very handy,

Kind Regards,
Josh

The TV is Mitsubishi Model CT-29GH1(A)

The decoder is Hills HSMX-200

Please see either of the below links

If you have a 11300MHZ LNB: http://freeviewforum.co.nz/forum/topics/how-to-receive-prime-four-p...

If you have a 10750MHZ LNB: http://freeviewforum.co.nz/forum/topics/how-to-receive-prime-four-p...

Hope this info helps!

Has nothing to do with the TV model
as the Freeview box is the sat receiver

Thanks. I tried both RESET FACTORY DEFAULT and FULL SCAN. In both instances it said it found 24 channels but when I press LIST on the remote I only get 15. When I press EPG (Whatever that means) I get a list including Prime and FOUR Plus 1 but if I hit enter it doesn't open. Why di I select AUCKLAND in this process when I am in The South Island?

I am at wits end now and I do appreciate your help. None of those options worked. I now have a menu that calls 10 PRME but if I scroll through my channels 10 is DUKE

To check which LNB you have follow the instructions below.

HOW TO CHECK LNB SETTINGS

Using your Hills Remote:

1. Press Menu, cursor across to Setup, cursor down to Antenna Setup

2. Enter the password 0000

3. Cursor down to Tuner configuration and press Enter

4. Check the signal quality and signal level bars - these should both indicate 75% or higher.

5. In LNB Local-freq, you will see 10750 if you have a 10750LNB or 11300 if you have a 11300LNB

Press EXIT to return to normal viewing.

Ok I definitely have 10750 and Bars look at least 75%

Thanks again Paul. All done as instructed but cannot access Prime Four plus 1 etc

Is this your only freeview box ?

Did you buy this or did you receive it free when television changed to digital ?

I got it in 2012 through a deal with WINZ. And yes it is my only freeview box. I still have all the paperwork if there are any numbers on that that may be useful.
