Hi i have a DTVS-1B which is not made anymore ,I need to buy a remote .Does anyone else still use this model ,or is it not worth using .We dont no how to use the freeview on our sanyo tv .So was going to put receiver on tv .any suggestions .

Thanks Josh ,i also found one on trade me ,from the same company .If this model is not being made anymore would it still do updates ,im guessing not .So what happens if they dont get updated .Are they still good to be used

The boxes are still usable, however if there was to be a siginifcant change to how Freeview vis Satellite works then there might be a few limitations on what these devices can do.

ALL PLATFORMS WORKING WELL, except a glitch with UHF transmission in Hawkes Bay affecting some JVC and VEON TVs.  See Network Status for more info and updates.
