No signal

Hi there. WE lost reception during a big rain band about two weeks ago here in Southland and haven't been ble to get a signal since then. We've checked the dish and it seems fine and when we try to retune the strength and quality go intermittently from zero to 60 %.

Our set up is about five years old and we bought the freeview off Trade Me so it's not brand new.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Afternoon Vanya

The issue may have something to do with your LNB (Which is the little thing in font of your dish)
Because this is five years it might be worn because of the weather overtime, and usually does become less reliable, I suggest you talk to a local installer and finding out about replacing the LNB.

However the issue might be isolated somewhere else and an installer will be able to find out how to correct the issue.
