I'm was hoping to upgrade the firm ware last weekend but other things got in the way and I'm hoping to do it this weekend but I a bit confused as to the STB set up and the different options on the "System Recovery files" and exactly what they means and what I can select to start from fresh (ie in the same state it was when first aquired) with out destroying the OS .

  Can someone get me on the right track

further to last post I've manage to work most of it out, my biggest problem remaining is that the  channel list is all over the place and I'm unable to find a website or link to down load a new FDU.

   Could some help out on this. Thanks

or you could just go  menu/ service list manager/ move services,,,,,ok moves to new list  when finished green to store

Thanks Willis, I looked at the  System Information-Data Version to find it was still displaying FDU as ver1.4, so I took the Bull by the horns and tried out the method you suggested- Result, Great so easy and so quick.
