Lately I have a message appearing (LCN Has Been Changed) whenever we switch from a channel (other than TV One or 2) across to TV One or 2.

ie from Prime to TV One or

Choice to TV2 or

TV3 to either One or 2.

I have a Dish TV 1050 PVR (UHF aerial) and installed the latest firmware last Friday (19-9) after getting an email from Dish TV advising that one was available.

Software Version is: A3U 20 014C

This however only started to happen on Wednesday 24-9 ?

I have contacted Dish TV and have been told:

Hi

This could indicate the transmission is being altered in your area, best thing to do would be to wait a while and see if the issue goes away

Regards Justin

Now I have done a Factory Reset as well as re-scanning channels. I have also tried doing a  manual scan but nothing makes this message disappear.

I live in the Christchurch area and am pointed towards Sugarloaf.

Does anyone else have this in my area ?

Does anyone know how to get rid of this message ?

I know LCN stands for "Logical Channel Numbering" and frankly I dont really care what or how it operates, just how to get rid of the damm mesage !

OK....
Have found how to get rid of the LCN Has Been Changed message when changing to either TV One or TV2

After the firmware update (Dish TV T1050) there is a channel appearing called: T1050 OAD SSU
This has no picture....nothing. Just a message that says “Digital Service”

I went into User Settings –> Organiser and scrolled down to this channel and deleted it.

After that no more annoying messages appearing.
