I have run my own coaxial cable (about 16m long) and have just installed a new UHF tv aerial that I purchased from Jaycar and have mounted up very high on a 6.3m apex roof. I have a Samusung QE55Q80r tv. I have directed the aerial toward where I beleive the nearest transmission tower is roughly. Initially I got both Maori tv channels crystal clear but nothing else when I did an autotune. I then checked the location of the transmission tower (Popoiti - east of Martinborough) and pointed my aerial further east. This time it picked up 7 channells (prime, Kordia, parliament tv etc.) but all were briefly pixelated then lost all signal. I have since readjusted several times but similar results. Any ideas?

Hi Leif

what results does it give when you enter your address here: https://www.freeviewnz.tv/get-freeview/get-freeview/coverage-check/

Have a look at the coverage maps here as it show you the reception approx. and the transmitter it is coming from. https://www.freeviewnz.tv/faq-library/about-digital-tv/coverage-maps/
