I have a new s8200 and its NOTHING like what i had hoped

Is it all of them or is it just mine?

Its is sooo slow, you push a button on remote and there is a HUGE delay , and sometimes when you pause something you can hear a HORRIBLE whistling noise, its QUIET , but very annoying, noise coming from the unit itself..

I was under the impression you could rewind real tv for a week.... for example tonight, it was 6.12pm, we missed the start of the news... BUT we cannot get back to the start, so thats not true.

Very disapointed.

Dish TV suggests updating the unit to the new firmware to resolve the slow issues with the box.

Thanks but as far as I know, i have the latest version , 1.24

That was ANOTEHR issue I had, when i FIRST pluged it in, it hooked up to the wifi and then said it was updating and rebooted about a hundred times, i left it for an hour and half and nothing changed, so i had to upload the firmware via a usb
