Every time I try to get into the playlist on my zinwell zmt-640, it crashes, the screen goes blank and the machine restarts. I don't know what to do and every internet search I do just comes up with "Zinwell is no longer supported". Any advice? Without my playlist, I'm only able to watch live TV, which isn't particularly convenient.

Sounds like the box is faulty and there is no available support via the main websites, From the Freeview database I can see that the product you have is no longer manufactured however there is a few contact numbers from the original supplier of the Zinwell: Details are below:

Hi Joanna,

I have some troubleshooting information which you will find here .    A restore to defaults followed by a re-scan my resolve the problems you are experiencing.   Also check that you have the latest software v1.2.4.    Since the TV3 regional changes last year the response to remote commands and operation during playback is sluggish - sorry their is no cure for this as the memory is now insufficent to handle all the extra EPG information that is now included since those changes.
