A client of mine purchased a Hills HSMX-200 Satellite Freeview receiver less than a year ago.

Now, with the switch of Prime, Four+1 and The Edge frequencies, the Hills phone line says that these boxes will not ever be compatible with this switch over - which sounds rather draconian to me when the boxes have been sold up until less than a year ago.

Has anyone had success making HSMX-200 work on the new transponder frequencies?  Or do you think it best to claim warranty?  Anyone's experience with this receiver would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

EDIT: To confirm, yes it is running the latest 1.23 firmware, yes I have factory reset and tried to retune, and yes I have reinstalled the firmware over a USB update just in case there was something wrong there.

The only way is to change the LNB to an 11300 and follow the instructions in the forum.

scenario does not make sense, in Hills saying that it won't ever work

That's a cop out, as it worked on both 10750 and 11300 lnbfs when Prime was on 12707 H, data shown with L-band tuning freq as below.

I have a theory 12519 H is Sky's NIT home transponder,  I expect it could be screwy data on it that stops it from loading the new services. e.g it will look be looking for D3 12707 H as part of the procedure.

12707 -10750 1957 (old Prime)
12519 -10750 1769 new Prime etc
12483 -10750 1733 Freeview
12456 -10750 1706 Freeview

12707 -11300 1407 (old Prime)
12519 -11300 1219 new Prime etc
12483 -11300 1183 Freeview
12456 -11300 1156 Freeview
