freezing my tv when plug my external in which never done ever before

Hi I updated my downloads watch plug external into my t-1000 box USB socket a npnormal when now won't let me watch it just freezes free view while freezes TV that have to turn off wall
Need help reset it factory still same

Can you please confirm your current unit version as it might need updating, also when did this issue occur, as we need to trace back at what could have trigger the issues
