Freeview Dropping Out from built in Freeview satellite receiver on new TV

Hi,

I very recently purchased a Samsung TV with a built in Freeview satellite receiver.  I set it up and it was working fine.  Over the last couple of days I've had issues with the Freeview signal.  The channels have interference/pixelating and Freeview has dropped out completely a couple of times.  I get the message, 'Weak or no signal, check connections etc.'  Previously to getting the new TV I was using a Freeview sat box and had been getting interference on Tv1, Tv2 and the Maori channel.  I just put it down to the box being on its way out.  Could this possible be an issue with my satellite?

Hey Hanna

If interference is present that does mean that your Satellite Dish will need readjusting and aligning. You can get a local installer to correct this or do this yourself.

Tips and Tricks can be found in the Freeview Satellite toolkit here

Hey Hanna,

Just checking to see if you need any further assistance? or if you have corrected the issue?

Hi Josh,

Yes, the issue is fixed.  The satellite dish did need readjusting/re-aligning as you said. I got someone to fix it and it's all working well now.

Thanks for your advice.
