DishTV satBox S7070r playing up
In the last few days our satellite receiver has been playing up! When we turn it on now it switches itself off after a few seconds and endlessly goes through this on/off sequence. Sometimes it may get as far asking to choose which region we are in, but it's just plain old weird. Tried different plug sockets etc to no avail, any ideas anyone!? Or is it stuffed?

Ours started doing this as well just this morning; found this hard-boot fix worked http://www.dishtv.co.nz/support/s7070r-loss-of-prime.htm#DatabaseEmpty

If you have a Hard drive or flash drive plugged in *unplug it*.
The latest OTA firmware update for the S7070R is faulty !
I have contacted DishTV about the numerous problems related to recording to external media via the EPG.
