A couple of days ago I was happily using the apps for tvnz and tv3 on demand loaded on the s8200.... then poof!..... freeview have removed them....what's the story...?!!!!!

I had the same issue, i spend two days looking for a error in my wifi to S8200 set up.

a page explaining that system maintenance is underway would be much more informative than the nothing that is there currently.

I did not manage to get the TVNZ app to work on the S8200, it does work on the PC.

The TVNZ on demand app has been crap ever since it started.  They now have no incentive to fix it because they're putting all their efforts into their Igloo pay TV venture with SKY TV.  Just another example of manipulating the market.

Umm no Mike, TVNZ ditched their igloo investment. Sky run it now.

We have the coming soon message appear because the apps have not officially being launched yet and they are indeed coming once we get approval from Freeview and broadcasters.

The apps between PC, Tablet, FreeviewPlus and Dish TV are separate and run on different technology and platforms. The apps work fine it's just that we have recently squashed a bug that is liked to how the S8200 handles playback streams, all other aerialBox products have been unaffected in terms of the TVNZ app.
