I experienced the same thing when I inserted my USB stick containing the update and turned on my TV.
But I managed to fix it :
Navigate to Menu -> Admin - > USB Software Update. When it asks for the admin code…"

I turned my Aerialbox T2100 off at the wall. I also factory reset it.
I turned off my router then turned it on again.

Now on demand programs on the Maori channel start sometimes.
But on all other channels it displays the channel logo and stops there.
